CONSULTANTS

Our consultants have over 30 years of experience in large organizations and advanced degrees in their disciplines.  We work collaboratively to meet our collective clients' needs.
Dr. ​Jonathan Reed has over 30 years of business strategy, management, and execution experience. He holds B.S., M.S., and D.B.A. degrees, and is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) Nathan M. Bisk College of Business. Previously, he held positions as Vice President of Programs and Vice President of Strategy/Business Development for the $2 billion Government Communications Systems Division (GCSD) of Harris Corporation, now L3Harris Technologies. He has developed and executed strategic plans and business plans across a wide range of products and services, honing the ability to adapt strategy and process to meet business needs.  
Ellen Dash is an accomplished software engineer and graphic designer with over 20 years of experience with user interface (UI) design/development for both web-based and client-based applications. She translates marketing strategy into creative and beautifully designed print and digital material. Web design is her passion. She enjoys the challenge of creating an inviting user experience by blending technology and art. She employs user-centered design approaches throughout the development process to maximize client involvement and satisfaction. She holds a B.S. degree in Computer and Information Sciences and an M.S. degree in Web Design and Online Communication, both from the University of Florida.
​Roberta Reed is co-founder of Strategy First. She has over 20 years of experience in engineering management and talent acquisition at Harris Corporation, where she led multiple departments in software development, systems engineering, and integration and test. She was selected to focus on recruiting at the business segment level and has hired over 1,000 employees. She excels at working with clients to understand business needs, identify and acquire talent, and develop employee performance and potential.   She holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Florida International University.
​Barb Loftus is a mission-focused leader with 35 years of experience in government contracting, primarily with large systems integrators. She has led teams working to win new business for L3Harris, SAIC, ManTech, Booz Allen Hamilton, and others, worth over $14 billion in contract value with the U.S. Navy, Army, Air Force, FAA, Coast Guard, Department of Homeland Security, and National Archives. Her skills include a broad understanding of systems engineering and program management, capture management, proposal management, proposal writing, basis of estimate preparation, and integrated master scheduling. She holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University and an M.S. in Technical Communications from North Carolina State University.
